Kirsten Cluthe is the founder of Studio Kairos, a production studio that focuses on podcasts in all formats - audio, video, and live.
She is currently producing Axe Lords, a guitar-focused podcast hosted by comedian Dave Hill, luthier Cindy Hulej, and music journalist/producer Tom Beaujour; a new season of Salute The Songbird with Maggie Rose, which will be recorded live at Chiefs in Nashville every month. She is also developing a slate of shows created by and for women.
Kirsten is a production partner for Osiris Media, an executive producer for the Hello Menopause! podcast with host Stacy London, and was a consulting producer for The eX-Files and SLAYERS rewatch podcasts from the team over at Buffering.
Kirsten founded Studio Kairos in 2015 after two decades of working in the entertainment and media industries. She began her career at CAA, supporting concert tours for artists like Madonna, The Smashing Pumpkins, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, Midnight Oil, and many others. From there, she jumped into artist promotion at rap label Select Records, did her time in artist management with Concrete during the Pantera & White Zombie era, and coordinated promotional tours while working in Artist Development at EMI Records.
Kirsten has been an event and speaking strategist for Techonomy Media, Ziff Media Group, the Lean Startup Conference + Lean Startup Labs. She has advised on programming + partnerships for the electronic music festival Moogfest, was an editorial producer for mediabistro and Personal Democracy Forum, and was a Director of Marketing Initiatives for GE.
Kirsten is also a writer focused on travel, culture, and lifestyle. She has contributed to PCMag, Edutopia, Techonomy, and Worth Magazine.
